TERMS AND CONDITIONS
My Terms and Conditions of working or producing work for new and existing clients are simple and are as follows:
I pride myself on being 100% trustworthy and I'm always fair. I work incredibly hard for my clients and I endeavour to produce the best work possible. In return, I expect to be paid fairly and on time for the work I do. It's embarrassing for all concerned if I have to remind someone to pay me – let's avoid that if possible. Like everyone, I have bills to pay – I love my job (I've always wanted to do it), but I do it for a living and I have responsibilities.
I prefer to work in a relaxed and informal way with my clients, and often on a trust basis (both parties). That said, I know this doesn't really 'cut the mustard' in terms of legality. Therefore, I have taken considerable time and effort to produce some clear Ts & Cs. I believe they are fair to my clients and myself.
If we decide to work together, and if I deem it necessary, I may send you a copy along with a Design Contract for you to agree and sign. This may seem a bit formal but it's intended to protect us both. Ordinarily I'd only ask a new client to sign a Design Contract – just until we get to know each other.
